Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operation of Reservations Department, coach and supervise the team on selling strategy, up-selling, length of stay control and negotiation technique to optimize revenue opportunities. Also ensure that rates are in line with market competition and pricing strategies
- Provide tactical decisions to Director of Sales and General Manager to determine the yield, market mix and rate strategy to maximize occupancy, ADR and RevPAR
- Monitor Comp Set pricing on all channels and provide market data to track Comp Set performance in market penetration, fair market share and ranking against competitors for benchmarking
- Identify the individual segmentations for Hotel Operations which are the major segments affecting the business plan and developing the Master Room Rate Plan for all segmentations including the rate structure for Wholesale, Transient, Corporate, Groups and ADS; and review them regularly
- Set up rate strategies and forecast by analyze the trends in booking pattern of customers, external events and Comp Set
- Assist Director of Sales and General Manager in compiling Sales & Marketing Plan, and set up rate strategies maximizing revenue accordingly to company direction and market situation
- Responsible for online distribution channels bookings and online marketing with Third Party websites
- Responsible to engage TMC consortia participation and Third Party websites to increase business opportunities through the penetration of GDS/ADS channels
- Provide up-selling strategies to all revenue generated departments
Requirements
- Degree holder in Hospitality Management or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience with at least 2 years in similar capacity
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Positive, mature, capable of building and leading the team
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant E-Commerce Manager
