FINDS invites guests on a unique cultural journey with the launch of its highly anticipated summer afternoon tea experience, “Nordic Craft, Heritage Cages: An Artisanal Afternoon Tea”. Merging contemporary design with Hong Kong’s rich intangible cultural heritage, this exclusive tea ritual transforms local history into an art-infused dining experience.
Paying tribute to the traditional birdcage production technique, recognised as a Hong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2014, the visual centrepiece of the afternoon tea is a bespoke stand named “Pesä” (meaning “nest” in Finnish). Inspired by “PAVO”, a bamboo console table handcrafted by award-winning designer Dylan Kwok, this striking art piece elegantly captures the monolithic dome structure of traditional Chinese birdcages, celebrating the unique pliability of bamboo.
